02 A modern approach
What does the procedure look like?
Precise diagnostics
We use advanced X-ray imaging to locate the inflammation precisely and understand the specific anatomy of the tooth root. Good diagnostics is the key to successful treatment.
Removing the infection
Under local anaesthesia we carefully and painlessly access the inside of the tooth and remove the inflamed or infected tissue, freeing you from pain.
Cleaning the canals
The root canals are mechanically shaped with great care and rinsed with special solutions to eliminate all remaining bacteria from the root system.
Hermetic filling
The cleaned space is filled with a biocompatible material that prevents bacteria from re-entering. The tooth is then restored with a filling or a ceramic crown.

? When to react?
When is root canal treatment necessary?
Treatment is needed when caries penetrates deep into the tooth and reaches the dental pulp. Symptoms usually appear as strong, spontaneous pain, sensitivity to hot and cold, pain when biting, or swelling. With timely endodontic treatment we relieve your pain, stop the spread of infection and successfully save your tooth from extraction.
