01 What the site actually stores

When you pick an option in the cookie bar, your choice is remembered locally in your browser (an entry named orjen-cookies). It is the only record the site sets itself, and it never leaves your device.

That is why the bar does not appear on every visit.

02 Analytics and advertising

The site uses no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel and no other tool for measuring visits or advertising, so there are no such cookies for you to refuse.

03 Google map

The Booking page and some pages about the places we cover hold a place for a Google map. The map loads from Google's servers only when you click Show map; until then Google receives nothing from this site. When you click, Google sees your IP address and browser type and may set its own cookies; Google's privacy rules apply.

04 Network cookies

The site is delivered through the Cloudflare network, which may set its own technical cookies to protect against abuse (for example __cf_bm). They tell people apart from automated requests and are not used to track your interests.

05 How to remove the record

Clearing this site's data in your browser settings also removes the stored choice. The bar will appear again on your next visit.
